Banana Bread Brownies Recipe

 




Ingredients

- 1-1 / 2 tsp. sugar
- 1 C. sour cream
- 1/2 tsp. softened butter
- 2 eggs
- 1-3 / 4 (3 or 4) ripe bananas, mashed
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract - 2 tbsp. all purpose flour
 - 1 teaspoon of baking soda
- 3/4 tsp. Salt
 - 1/2 tsp. chopped nuts (optional) # Brown butter frosting recipe:
 - 1/2 tsp. butter - 4 tbsp. powdered sugar - 1-1 / 2 tsp. vanilla extract - 3 tbsp. Milk

 HOW TO DO IT :
 1. Heat the oven to 375F then grease and flour a 15 × 10 inch jelly roll pan. For bars, in a large bowl, beat together sugar, sour cream, butter and eggs until creamy. Stir in the bananas and vanilla extract. Add the flour, baking soda, salt and mix for 1 minute. Stir in the nuts.
2. Spread dough evenly in pan and bake until golden, about 20 to 25 minutes.
3. Meanwhile, for the frosting, heat the butter in a large saucepan over medium heat until it boils. Remove the butter from the heat once it turns a delicate brown.
4. Add powdered sugar, vanilla extract and milk and whisk together until smooth (make sure it's thicker than frosting but thinner than frosting). Using a spatula, spread the brown butter frosting over the hot bars (the frosting will be easier to spread while the bars are still hot).
