Hamburger steaks with onion gravy
Ingredients

instructions
In a large bowl, combine the ground beef, egg, breadcrumbs, pepper, salt, onion powder, garlic and Worcestershire sauce. Form thick patties. Heat the oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Fry the patties and onion in the oil until the patties are golden brown. Place the beef patties on a plate and keep warm. Sprinkle the onions and the cooking juices in the pan with flour. Stir in the flour with a fork, scraping the beef pieces from the bottom as you stir. Gradually incorporate the beef broth. Season with seasoned salt. Simmer and stir over medium-low heat for about 5 minutes, until the sauce thickens. Reduce the heat to low, return the patties to the sauce, cover and simmer for another 15 minutes.
