Homemade Caramel Cake



➩ 2 cups of all-purpose flour.
 ➩ 2 cups of granulated sugar.
➩ 2 cups of softened butter.
➩ 1 cup of lukewarm water.
➩ 2 large eggs.
➩ 1 teaspoon of pure vanilla extract.
➩ 1 teaspoon of baking soda.
➩ 1/2 cup of buttermilk. -

 For the frosting you will need:
➩ 1 cup of softened butter.
 ➩ 3 cups of granulated sugar.
➩ 2 teaspoons of vanilla extract.
➩ 1 cup heavy cream.
➩ A pinch of salt.

➩ I preheated the oven to 350 degrees F and spray two cake pans with cooking spray.
➩ Mix the flour and sugar until blended.
➩ Melt the butter with the water in a small saucepan, then pour over the flour and sugar. whip again.
➩ Add the baking soda, eggs, vanilla and buttermilk and whisk until smooth.
➩ Pour into the prepared molds and bake for 25 minutes, and let cool on a rack for 15 minutes.
➩ Now it's time to make the delicious caramel frosting, in a saucepan place 2 and a half cups of sugar, butter, heavy cream and a pinch of salt, cook over medium heat, stirring constantly.
➩ Then add the vanilla and 1/2 cup of the sugar, and keep stirring until it turns amber. Let cool for about 15 minutes and spread the frosting over the cooled cake layers. Stack the layers; top and sides of ice. Enjoy !!!
