Lasagna

 





Ingredients :

- 1 1/2 pounds of lean ground beef
 - 1 1/2 pound of Italian sausage
 - 1 chopped onion
- 1 8 oz or more (to taste) of sliced ​​mushrooms, cleaned
- 1 teaspoon of salt - 1 teaspoon of black pepper
- 1 teaspoon of garlic salt
- 1 64 oz jar of your choice of spaghetti sauce (Prego is best)
- 2 large eggs, beaten
- 1 container (32 ounces) of ricotta cheese
- 1 to 2 packages (16 ounces) grated mozzarella cheese, divided (you can also add a little grated cheddar if you wish)
- 2 teaspoons of garlic powder
- 2 1/2 teaspoon parsley flakes, divided
- 2 teaspoons of Italian seasoning
- 1 box of lasagna noodles, cooked
- 1 cup grated Parmesan, divided

INSTRUCTIONS :
 Step 1: Preheat the oven to 350 °. Boil the noodles according to the instructions provided on the box. Step 2: Then, in a large skillet, brown the ground beef and sausage over medium heat; stirring occasionally. Drain the fat. Return the pan to the stove, add the mushrooms and onion, cook until the mushrooms and onions have the desired texture. Step 3. In a large bowl, combine the ricotta cheese with the beaten eggs. Add 1 cup of mozzarella cheese, garlic powder, Italian seasoning and 2 teaspoons of parsley. Mix well. Step 4: Now spread about 1 large spoonful of the meat sauce on the bottom of a 13 × 9 inch baking dish, then lay the noodles on top of the meat sauce. Spread 1/2 cup of the ricotta mixture over the noodles. Spread the mozzarella cheese lightly over the ricotta. Distribute more meat sauce evenly on top. Repeat the noodles, ricotta and mozzarella and meat sauce. Top the remaining noodles with the meat sauce, making sure to coat the noodles with the sauce. To make sure the noodles are in sauce, you can put the noodles that go on top and saturate them with the rest of the meat sauce. Sprinkle with remaining mozzarella cheese, Parmesan and remaining parsley. Step 5: Cover with foil. Using non-stick spray, spray foil to prevent cheese from sticking on top, then bake for about 30-40 minutes and let stand 15 minutes before cutting.
