Hershey Syrup Brownies

1/2 cup butter, melted in the microwave, no subs
1 cup granulated sugar
4 eggs
1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
1 cup of flour 1 can of Hershey syrup
16 ounces icing
1 cup chopped walnuts optional
3 cups of icing sugar
1/2 cup melted butter, no subs
4 tablespoons of cocoa
4 tablespoons of milk
1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. Grease the bottom of a 9 x 11 inch pan. After melting the butter in the microwave, cream the sugar and butter together. Add the eggs one at a time and beat well after each addition. Add the vanilla extract. Add the flour, mix well. Add the Hershey syrup, mix well. Add the chopped walnuts, if necessary. Pour the batter into the mold. Bake for 35 to 40 minutes or until brownie test is done with a toothpick. When the brownies are almost done baking, prepare the frosting. Bring the butter, cocoa and 1 tablespoon of milk to a boil in the microwave. In a mixing bowl, add the icing sugar. Add the cocoa mixture to the sugar and beat well. Add 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract. Add the rest of the milk. Add enough to achieve the desired consistency. Let the brownies cool for about 5 to 10 minutes. Spread the frosting over the brownies. Sprinkle with a few chopped walnuts, if desired. The frosting will harden to a fudge-like consistency. Let brownies cool completely before cutting them into squares.
